ACEO - ATC = COLLECTORS ART CARDS

These Art Cards are 2.5" x 3.5" miniature pieces of art in which any media may be used.    The ORIGINAL HITTY pictures are hand drawn, hand colored, cut, framed, mounted on mat board, sealed, a hanger placed on the back and come in a clear protective sleeve with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.       $10.00 + $1.00 S/H

ALTERED ORIGINALS are cut out, positioned in the frame, mounted on mat board and sealed.  They have a hanger on the back, NO printing on the front, except for signature, and come in a clear protective sleeve with Cerficate of Authenticity.   $8.00 + $1.00 S/H

ATC = ARTIST TRADING CARDS

AAMM = ALTERED ART / MIXED MEDIA

AAMM cards are the same size and purpose as the ACEO and ATC cards with the addition of added material such as fabric, buttons, dried plants, metal, stick-ons, etc.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY signed and included with each COLLECTORS ART CARD and the completed unit comes in a clear protective sleeve.

Mehitabel Preble, "HITTY" for short!

HITTY is a real hand carved, pegged, wooden doll from the 1800's.  She is only 6.25" tall so also qualifies as a pocket-doll. 

HITTY currently resides in the Stockbridge Library Museum in Stockbridge MASS.  You can read about her many adventures in the Newbery Medal Winning book, "HITTY, Her First 100 Years", written by Rachel Field and illustrated by Dorothy Lathrop, first printed in 1920.  This will also tell you why she always wears her Red Coral Necklace!

For nearly 200 years Artist's from all over the world have strived to capture the irresistible Spirt of this little doll ... I am just one of them!

All HITTY Collectors cards come with a HANGER on the BACK making them ready for your doll house wall, or to create a grouping for a regular size wall.

#2, "In Which I Visit A Magnolia" Hitty's picture, with branch and foil leaves are cut out, placed in grey frame.  Card is mounted sturdy mat board and sealed.  There is a hanger on the back.
